Calligraphy in the Snow

It all began with snowshoeing. In the 1970s BD and his wife became charter members of the US Snowshoe Assn. in Corinth NY. They had been avid hikers for years but what to do in the winter.

Snowshoeing entered their life and they travelled to Bear Mountain, then up along the Taconic, and finally to the Adirondacks to seek the thrill of the sport. In the 80s they moved to New Jersey and had snowshoeing at their back door. The snow pictures of a calligraphic nature shown below soon followed.
